A group of conspiracy theorists led by the overzealous Bjorn Eriksson (nicely played to the annoying hilt by Ben Kobald) go to Lake Mead, Nevada in search of proof that the government has been covering up evidence that alien life does indeed exist.
Writerdirector Jake Myers pokes wickedly witty fun at the inherent phoniness of both hokey reality TV shows and equally cheesy found footage films, with the character of Bjorn in particular coming across like a hilariously obnoxious idiot whose faltering and self-serving interviews with various folks are often hysterical riots to behold. Moreover, Myers also manages to generate some genuine tension when the stuff eventually gets a bit too real towards the end. Jennifer Mills contributes a lively and appealing turn as the perky Britney Big Time while Davida Rochelle amuses as flaky alien expert Elsa Moulton.
