A theater version of the Sci-Fi nonsensical samurai comic by Sorachi Hideaki. "Benizakura-hen," a popular episode from the TV edition, is newly interpreted and recreated. Set in Edo, where values and beliefs are undergoing rapid changes, the film gives a lively depiction of the escapades of Ginji, the last samurai.
