Think about it, Robot Taekwon V is what you get when you combine Superheroes, Kaiju Eiga and Ultraman (though Taekwon was made a year before Ultraman).

Quite an interesting and innovative anime. It follows a gang of youths finding a Giant Robot that could adapt in any environment and can be used as a tool for keeping the galaxy at peace. Alongside that, sometimes the gang in charge of Taekwon V can unknowingly summon outside forces to aid them in fighting anything that is evil or corrupt.

Sure, it may sound basic right now, but I am going to be nice and not spoil anything. Though Tetsujin nijû-hachi gôGigantor started the giant robot anime category, Robot Taekwon boosted the genre even more, since Japanese MonstersKaiju are popular in Korea as well (talk about a co-incidence, Kuk-Dong and Seki Trading company distribute and occasionally work with the Japanese companies Toho and Toei).

If you can find any Taekwon V anime, GET IT! And even to this day, Robot Taekwon V anime series and movies are being made! Talk about high profile.
