Suspension of disbelief? You bet you should bring that with you while you watch this movie. Otherwise you may find things difficult to swallow. I also would advise you to read as little as possible about the story of the movie. I personally love to discover movies and what they are about. So keep that in mind and believe when I tell you it does heighten the experience.

Having said all that, Abby Lee seems to be drawn to strange and wicked roles. Neon Demon one other recent example, but she also stated it herself in an interview I read. It's refreshing to read that she likes to challenge herself. It really shows on screen that she is more than dedicated. The story holds up and the tension is really there, while the twists work quite nicely. Even when you may get annoyed a little bit (I know I did for a second there), it'll sway you right around.
