Summary: Sharknado 2: The Second One is hilariously ridiculous, entertaining and it's filled with cameos; although it lacks the charm and genuineness of the first installment. 67100 (B-)

A freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites - and only Fin and April can save the Big Apple. "Sharknado 2: The Second One" sometimes feels forced and the plot is basically the same of the first film, but it's nice to see this hilarious, likable cast again. The opening scene made me laugh so much, I loved when Fin said: "It's happening again", LOL. The first Sharknado is a TV classic for me and this second one is basically the first film, but now it sets place in New York. Anyway, the jokes are still funny and effective. It is a must see if you liked the first one.

The acting is pleasantly bad as always and the script is brainless and easy... as always. There's a scene at the middle of the film where Fin tells a crowd of New Yorkers to prepare to fight the sharks that will fall from the sky after he destroys the tornadoes, then after his speech he cuts a shark by the half and that scene gave me chills, I don't know why. Moving on, the new characters are awful and the human drama is sometimes dull and doesn't fit with the tone of the film. On the upside, the bloody scenes are well done and enjoyable. Although it lacks the charisma of the first movie, it is still entertaining and funny, especially if you watch it with some friends.
