The main reason, I saw this film was because of its melodious songs and music composed by G.S.Kohli. Most of the songs were a treat to see and listen, with two gems of duet, both by Lata and Rafi, namely 'Chaman ke phool' & 'Agar main poochhoon' written by Farooq Kaiser and shot in a very beautiful location. The last one can go into the list of top 100 romantic songs of Bollywood. The bonus of seeing this film, besides the songs was the story based on the search for getting King Kong, the gorilla for a circus company. The owner of the circus company also happened to be the father of the heroine Ragini in the movie, (who incidentally was a good dancer too and happened to be the younger sister of yesteryear actress Padmini). Ajit although looking bit aged, made a good pair with her. King Kong, the fictitious gorilla made famous by Hollywood films, is very well depicted in this Bollywood version, shot in exotic locales presumably Maldives or Andaman islands or could be some forests in Kerala. Although the film ends with a typical Bollywood happy ending where 10 people easily defeat 50 people, but overall the movie was fun to watch.
